The 2008 World Championship of Cornhole is open to players of all skill levels, ages 12 and up. Teams entered into the event include friends, co-workers, significant others, husbands and wives, and relatives. The best part about the World Championship is the fact you are gauranteed a full day of cornhole. We do this through a format that gives every team lots of playing time and plenty of opportunities to make it to the championship matchup.
Since its inception in 2006, the World Championship of Cornhole has received a lot of media attention because of its uniqueness. Players love the event because we work hard to make sure players are treated well and the tournament is run smoothly. In 2007, teams from six states participated in the event. We even had one player all the way from Scotland!
Organizers for the 2008 event couldn't contain all the cornhole action in one day so this year we will be hosting "The Downtown Throwdown" singles tournament on the eve of the World Championship. This tournament will feature cornhole, live music, food and drink and it gives players an opportunity to test out the same boards they will be playing on during the World Championship. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to warm up and gain an edge on your opponents.
