Anyone who knows golf knows that Mr. Donald Ross set the standard for golf design excellence decades ago and all other designers come in a distance second. Designed in 1923, built in 1924, our 18-hole course has had decades to mature and develop its rich character. In 2004, we made the Golf Digest “Best Places to Play” list and received four out of five stars. It was also named one of the “Top 25 Donald Ross Courses to Play” by Golf Magazine.

No matter what we’ve done in the way of course improvements over the years, nothing has detracted from the original thought process of Mr. Ross.

Our annals reveal that Mr. Ross was actually on-site for construction of the course, then stuck around and actually played the course. Rare for Mr. Ross in his heyday!
